Race Report – DKM Round 3 in Ampfing
Ampfing, Germany – The Schweppermannring became the stage for one of the most demanding weekends of the 2025 German Kart Championship (DKM) season. Constantly changing weather conditions – from sunshine to heavy rain – challenged teams and drivers alike. Tire strategies and setup adjustments had to be made on the fly, demanding absolute precision and coordination.
Despite the extreme conditions, the Mach1 Motorsport x Wilk Motorsport team delivered impressive performances across the board – with standout results from Emanuel Mai and Rouven Wilk.
Emanuel Mai – Consistent and confident
Emanuel once again proved his racing maturity. A strong P3 in the Super Heat and a determined drive to P4 in the Final earned him valuable championship points. He now sits 5th overall in the DSKC standings – firmly in contention.
Rouven Wilk – On the rise
Rouven continued his upward trend with consistent pace in every session. A solid drive to 7th in the Final and valuable points from the Heats lift him to 6th place overall. His speed and racecraft shine – even in unpredictable conditions.
Erik Müller – Fastest driver of the weekend
In the Super Heat, Erik set the fastest lap of the entire event (44.061 seconds). He fought hard in the Final and finished 13th, despite a spoiler penalty. He now sits 17th overall, with the Top 10 within reach.
Svenja Dreher – Improving steadily
Svenja once again delivered a consistent performance. She secured P8 in the Super Heat and crossed the line P16 in the Final after a front fairing penalty. In the standings, she currently holds 21st place – a solid foundation for the rest of the season.
Sascha Dreher – Rookie shows promise
Youngster Sascha narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Final, despite a strong showing in the Heats. He now sits 32nd overall in a competitive field of 51 drivers – a solid result and an encouraging trajectory for the rookie.
