The Mach1 Motorsport – Kartschmie.de works team is pleased to have a strong squad of drivers in the 2023 season. The German kart manufacturer presented its drivers Gianni Andrisani, Linus Hensen and Lukas Thomsen as part of the Mach1 Experience Days. The team competes in the DKM and Karting World Championship.
“These drivers grab the steering wheel for Mach1 Motorsport and fight for victories,” says Mach1 Kart Managing Director Martin Hetschel, looking motivated at the new season. Linus Hensen proved last year that the Mach1 Kart has not forgotten how to win. At the season finale of the DMSB Shifter Kart Cup in Wackersdorf, he won the pre-final.
The team is made up of several strong pillars. In addition to Hetschel, Frank Hansen from kartschmie.de will continue to act as team leader. Rouven Wilk strengthens the team as race team manager. The leading trio provides perfect support on and off the racetrack and enables the races to be held at the highest level.
After the Experience Days, the test work begins for the team. The season starts with the first race of the DKM from 21.-23. April in Mulsen. Overall, the highest German kart racing series includes five race weekends distributed in Germany, Belgium and
Italy. The Shifterkart World Championship takes place this year from 7.-10. September as the home grand prix in Wackersdorf.
