Drivers of the German chassis succeed in Liedolsheim
The Kart track in Liedolsheim was buzzing this weekend with the ADAC Kart National Final. Among the 100+ participants, several drivers competed with a Mach1 Kart. By Sunday evening, the German kart manufacturer had plenty to celebrate. Maxi Eigner (X30 Junior) and Erik Müller (KZ2) both secured overall victories in their respective classes. 🎉🏁
Throughout the year, karting athletes competed in four ADAC regional series for victories and championship points, with the best drivers traditionally meeting for the grand finale at the ADAC Kart National Final. The event crowned national champions across various classes. 🏆🏁
Several drivers took on the challenge with a Mach1 Kart and achieved great success. In the X30 Junior class, Maxi Eigner was unstoppable. Leading the field from the start, he kept his cool throughout the races. Under sunny skies, he won both finals on Sunday and proudly lifted the championship trophy. His fellow Mach1 driver, Lukas Heim, fought his way up to 8th place after a tough qualifying session. Ben Fritz impressed with a 9th-place finish in Saturday’s heats, ending the weekend just within reach of the Top Ten.
Erik Müller had a perfect race Sunday in the shifter karts. Already on Saturday, he stayed close to the front runners, and in the finals, he pushed all the way to the top. With a 1st and 2nd place finish, the driver from northern Germany secured the overall victory. 🏆💪
Sascha and Swenja Dreher also had hopes of reaching the podium. Qualifying in third and sixth, the duo was within striking distance. However, both were repeatedly set back during the races, losing their chances for a strong finish.
Competing as solo entrants were Hannes Ehninger in the X30 Senior class and Frank Zaddach in the KZ2 Gentlemen category. Ehninger faced a strong field and experienced two thrilling race days. Gentlemen Zaddach narrowly missed the podium, finishing in a close 7th place.
Martin Hetschel from Mach1 Kart was thrilled with the strong results from his karts: “We had a really great weekend and are very happy to have achieved overall victories in two classes.
